GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

There are several components to earning a diploma in the state of Louisiana. Our state has more than one diploma pathway for students. Our job is to work together in planning for your child’s future. We encourage our parents and students to attend all orientations, class meetings and schedule appointments with the counselor when appropriate. We have included links on this page to help you understand what your child needs to earn a diploma. Along with the criteria listed below, students are expected to adhere to school policy and attendance regulations. 

1. Students must complete one of the following curriculum pathways and earn the required number of carnegie units. Click the links below for specifics. 

                         TOPS UNIVERISTY PATHWAY

                        JUMPSTART TOPS TECH PATHWAY (this pathway requires credentials)

                        JUMPSTART GRADUATION PATHWAYS

2. EOC and LEAP 2025 exams: All students must pass one subject in each of three subject pairs:

                        a.  Algebra I or Geometry

                        b. Biology or US History

                        c. English I or English II

3. Students must complete one of the following: a) Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and return confirmation e-mail to the counselor; or b) Complete an opt-out waiver which can be obtained from the counselor’s office or the Senior 2021 webpage
