I graduated from Grand Ledge High School in Michigan.
During high school, I attended Lansing Community College at night.
After graduation I attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette Michigan for 3 years. After I got married I transfered to University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton Texas, where I graduated with a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
In 2000 I went back to school, Murray State University in Murray Kentucky for teacher certification.
In 2016 I started Northwestern State University double majoring in Psychology and Addiction Studies graduating in 2019
In 2019 I started my masters adventure at Indiana Wesleyan University in Clinical Addiction Counseling
I hold the following degrees:

I started teaching at DeRidder High School in 2004, making this 17 years.
This year I have four hours of Pre-Biology and two hours and one virtual section of Biology II (Anatomy and Physiology)
I started teaching in 2004
I just left the National Guard after 27 years and transfered to the Army Reserve. My current unit is located in Mobile, Alabama (ROLL TIDE!)
I have been married to my husband for 7 years. I have 2 daughters, one is working in the hematology lab at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, the other one just commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and is currently at BOLC at Fort Leonardwood.
My husband and I have 7 dogs and 1 cat.
